Methods and settings
| Method / input | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Manual Weekly | Enter a separate amount for each plan week. The first switch copies the current amounts once. |
| Fixed / Recurring | Schedule an independent amount per payment weekly, every two weeks or monthly. |
| Dated Payments | Enter individual dates, amounts and comments; each payment falls into its ISO week. |
Use the methods offered for the line
Editable standard lines offer Linked model, Manual Weekly and Dated Payments. Timing Profile is additionally available for Collections and their sublines, Suppliers, Payroll and Capex. Fixed / Recurring is available for the eligible remaining standard lines and custom lines. Locked financing rows and aggregate collection parents are excluded. Independent money values may be negative: a negative receipt reduces cash, while a negative disbursement increases it. Use that sign deliberately and explain reversals in the comment.
Switch to manual deliberately
On the first switch to Manual Weekly, the current operational weekly values are copied into saved manual inputs. Subsequent switches back to Manual Weekly reuse those saved values rather than overwriting them from the current scenario. Edit the row or its week detail to change a manual amount. Changing the Model scenario can change the comparison baseline, but does not change independent manual cash.
Amount per payment, not a share of Model cost
Fixed / Recurring uses an amount per payment, Frequency and First payment / start date. Monthly cadence also uses Pay day from 1 to 28. For example, 20 in a model displayed in EURk means EUR 20,000 at each scheduled payment, not 20% of the linked cost. This method is available on custom lines and eligible payment rows such as Payroll and Taxes; it is not offered for ordinary Collections, Suppliers or Capex rows.
Place known payments on actual dates
Dated Payments stores a date, amount and optional payment comment for each entry. Several payments in different dates of the same week contribute to that week. A second entry on the same exact date within a line is rejected; combine the amount or use another appropriate line. Payments outside the thirteen-week window remain saved. Changing a date can therefore move an amount into or out of the visible cash bridge.
Add a clearly named operational line
Add a custom receipt, disbursement or collection subline when no linked source represents the payment. Give it a meaningful Line name, an optional Source reference and a comment. Custom lines offer Manual Weekly, Fixed / Recurring and Dated Payments; they do not create an upstream Model source. A Source reference is descriptive text, not a live external connection. Custom collection lines add to existing collections.
Recognize methods in older saved plans
Previously saved timing methods remain readable: Weekly, Biweekly and Monthly pay date move economic cohorts to their next payment week; Explicit week assigns the window economic total to a relative week; Split window total distributes that total across selected weeks; Recurring weekly amount supplies an independent weekly amount. These compatibility methods appear only when already saved on that line. They are not the same as the current Fixed / Recurring amount-per-payment method.
