13-Week Cash Flow

Build an operational cash plan that understands the financial model while keeping its own saved timing and cash inputs.

Model-aware, plan-owned

The selected Model scenario supplies linked operating and financing sources. A saved 13W plan supplies timing rules, manual amounts, dated payments and operational overrides. This lets receipts or payments deliberately differ from the Three-Statement Model without automatically rewriting revenue, AR, AP or main-model cash. Default Linked model rows reconcile to the existing weekly Model cash path; independent inputs then explain operational departures.

Work from calendar to funding

Select one of the three plans and a start week inside the forecast. Confirm opening cash and the selected Model scenario. Review linked customer collections, supplier payments, payroll, taxes and capex before changing methods. Use profiles for source timing, Manual Weekly or Dated Payments for independent amounts, and precision overrides for exceptions. Finally inspect lowest cash, required funding and facility availability across all thirteen weeks.

Reconcile each week

Opening Cash + Total Receipts โˆ’ Total Disbursements + Facility Draws โˆ’ automatic Facility Repayments = Closing Cash. Disbursements include interest and contractual principal repayment once. Automatic revolving repayment appears separately in financing. Cash lines normally use positive amounts in their own receipt/disbursement direction; negative amounts reverse that direction. Funding and liquidity explains how the plan recalculates debt when operational cash changes.

Read the operational summary

The main cards are Lowest Cash, Minimum Available Liquidity and Peak Required Funding. Secondary facts include peak facility draw, lowest headroom, first funding gap, ending cash and net cash change. The chart compares closing cash, Minimum Cash and available liquidity, highlighting weeks with a gap. Select a summary, week, cash line or timing profile for Inspector; it shows the plan, scenario and week rather than only an unlabeled amount.

Use the right system for structural changes

To change a loan contract, go to Financing or Refinancing. To change revenue economics, go to Model. To change an operational expected receipt without changing revenue, use the selected plan. 13W is not invoice aging, a bank feed or an automatic rolling-actuals process. Plan results cannot project historical or outside-model weeks. Start with plans and calendar and linked sources before relying on the cash forecast.
