Trading comparables

Apply observed peer multiples to a selected period of the BalanceCheat model.

Available modeling methods

Method / inputBehavior
Peer inputsName, market cap, EV, net debt, revenue, EBITDA, EBIT, net income and optional growth/margin.
MultiplesEV/Revenue, EV/EBITDA, EV/EBIT and P/E.
Periods and statisticsLTM, FY1, FY2 or a named period; median, mean, quartiles, min/max or a direct selected-multiple override.

Enter observations deliberately

The peer table starts empty. Enter sourced observations and include or exclude individual companies. EV can be entered directly or derived from market cap plus net debt. Nonpositive denominators do not produce usable multiples. BalanceCheat does not fetch prices or verify that peer accounting definitions are comparable.

Apply the selected basis

Choose the target model year, metric and reported or adjusted basis. For example, a 10× multiple applied to adjusted EBITDA of 200 produces EV of 2,000. P/E instead produces equity value. The selected EV-equity bridge converts compatible outputs, and Football Field can display individual multiple ranges.
