Connect from the active model
Open AI in the global header. Select a client, read the current connection instructions and choose the access you intend to grant. Keep the model window open: external calls are scoped to its active model and connection. A header connection indicator in another window does not mean that window has unrestricted access to every model.
What the AI can access
The integration exposes model structure, supported fields, scenarios, selected results and validated modeling actions. Read-only access cannot write. Permitted writes pass through canonical actions and pending review, including adjustment and valuation edits. BalanceCheat performs the financial calculations; the connected AI proposes and explains changes.
Availability and disconnection
Client compatibility, plan permissions and account settings can differ. Use the current panel instructions rather than assuming every provider exposes the same tools. Temporary connections expire and can be revoked in the model. Provider credentials and connection tokens are access secrets; they are not assumptions to put in a model note or exported example.
